Until you put on the clothes it doesn't quite seem real. That's why my first actual costume fitting was so inspiring. After training in the morning my afternoon was spent with costume assistant Coroline Chapados and a hell of a lot of bobby pins. But here at Cirque the fitting room is equipped with theatrical lighting so Voila! (
love that word.) After a lot of adjusting and tugging and tightening I finally got a gander at what I'm going to be wearing as "The King of the Clowns" & "The House Manager" in
Kooza! And I learned something too.
Apparently epaulets are like cat nip to women.
